Olympics, Olympics and Olympics
Well, it’s quite good that the drama I love wouldn’t be
aired at this crucial time. Otherwise I might not be able to watch the Olympic Games
live. Anyway, I’m a big fan of sports even though I didn’t play any sports. I
just love watching them.
Anyway, thanks to youtube for broadcasting the games live
since I don’t have to turn on the local tv. And I can support and watch my
country’s athletes trying their best. We haven’t won any gold medal since
joining the Olympics almost 40 years ago. So biggest hope for the country rest
upon Lee Chong Wei,our national hero. But with his injury and all stuffs, I
pray the best for him. It’s okay as long as you’re in good health. You have
done more than enough.

For some reason, I also look forward to watch the match of
our men’s double Koo Kien Keat- Tan Boon Heong against South Korea’s Chung Jae
Sung- Lee Young Dae pair. The Koreans pair is world number 1, whereby Koo-Tan
is seeding number 8. What a huge gap on the paper! Few years back, I was a big
fan of Koo-Tan and I’ve seen their sudden rises as well as sudden downhill.
These recent years, their performances reach a plateau whereby it wasn’t a good
sign. They haven’t won any big tournament recently and I hope this Olympic will
bring them to their old self – The Unbeatable Pair. Even though it’s just group
play stage, I wished the good momentum would be brought along until the end.

For other sports, I don’t know much about it. Hope is still
there but looking the world ranking and all, I would say, we’ll see. Diving,
archery, swimming, fencing as well as cycling- Let’s see how they’ll perform!

Go, go Team Malaysia. Malaysia Boleh!
** Malaysia Boleh
means Malaysia can do it.
