Nice Guy: A Roller-Coaster Ride

          With 4 more episodes to go, I anticipate on how this drama will be wrapped. Seriously, I’m totally going crazy about this drama. With good directing, writing, acting and beyond awesome cinematography I would dare to say that Nice Guy might be one of the best I’ve ever watched. I’m not sure if we could get a happy ending because I can’t really tell to what extend this drama might be going.

The  16th episode of Nice Guy is totally awesome. I had a fun ride with a lot of tears and deep feeling. Yeah, I’m not good in expressing feeling but I really felt sad for Maru. I don’t know..I knew that he was ‘not a good guy’ before but with his sincere love for Eungi, my heart was really touched.

Eungi really turned the table with her regaining her memories. She hide the truth that she remembered already, putting a fake smile to Maru, it just made my heart ache. Oh no...but looking at Eungi’s perspective I think that she did the right thing. That’s the best she could do and maybe she would realize Maru’s love somehow. She ran to Maru but that guy dumped her using very harsh words that torned up the girl. It’s normal for her to get angry and start deceiving Maru..and I’m happy that the bitchy Eungi came back. At least let’s give Maru some taste of his own medicine...yeah, he had to pay what he owed right?

Despite that, most of the Naughties( including me)  believe that Maru already realized that  Eungi regained her memories.  His facial expression told everything but he decided to let Eungi herself come clean. He was aware and let himself be used. That hurts, anyway. Maru knows Eungi the best and he let her do what she want to do with him. They also speculate that it was Maru that send the envelope to Eungi, about the details of the accident a year ago. And I thought of the same too. Who else would do? Attorney Park Joonha? Secretary Hyun? Or would it be Attorney Park Minyoung or Han Jaehee? Really, I don’t think so.

HeadsNo2 from dramabeans mentioned that medical ethics doesn't exist in that kdramaland universe. Yep, it's gotta be true. Maybe in kdramaland, breach of confidentiality is crucial to drive the drama forward. As someone working in healthcare system, I wish it wouldn't be happening in real world. Really, I mean it.

                Song Joongki and Moon Chaewon really nailed it. They’re indeed great actors. I loved Song Joongki in Tree With Deep Roots because of his conflicted young King character but trust me, Kang Maru is far more layered with conflict, angst and whatsoever. Kang Maru would probably the role that would make me remember Song Joongki forever as one of the good actor. Previously I watched O & G Doctors and Sungkungkwan Scandal but they failed to make me think highly of Song Joongki despite his good-looking pretty face. And for Moon Chaewon , I adore her. With just a minimal make-up, she looks very pretty and that’s why Song Joongki previously mentioned that she looked like a godess. Woww...and despite her beauty, she is indeed a great actress as I’ve seen her in her previous role in The Princess Man. She is much more improved compared to when I first saw her in Painter of The Wind and Shining Inheritance. Even so, Park Siyeon is definitely gorgeous with her sexy look. Han Jaehee for me is her best so far and I like her acting as Jaehee. Whenever I saw Jaehee, I felt a strange extra bitchiness overshadowed her. Hahah..no offense.  By the way, the tall Jaegil and Kang Choco is pretty good to watch too. They’re good. Not to forget, our handsome Attorney Park is eye candy that could melt every woman with his loyalty. I love him because of his line saying, “ If I love someone, do I need to have her?” It’s just awesome, dude.

 Seo Eungi vs Han Jaehee, who will win the battle?

                KBS just officially announced the airing date of Jeowoochi and because of that I’m glad that there will be no extension for Nice Guy. 20 episodes is just enough and beautiful. But too bad for me that I will be away for the week Nice Guy will wrap-up. I won’t be able to watch KBS2 live streaming and I have to wait till Sunday to download the last 2 episodes since I’ll be back on Sunday morning. Too bad for me, guys. But it’s okay. At least that time the last 2 episodes would have been fully English subbed and I can watch 2 episodes back to back. I have to be mentally prepared and physically with box of tissue and plenty of water to rehydrate myself. Uh-oh. And I really hope that we will get happy ending because we know enough the the Write Lee loves tragic ending so much. Don’t believe me? Just watch her previous work such as A Love to Kill and Will it Snow for Christmas and you’ll know what I meant.  Before we say goodbye,let's listen to Song Joongki's Really from Nice Guy OST. It got stuck in my head and I just can't get rid of it.
